Remember The Lusitania, the World's Most Popular Steam Ship, Torpedoed and Sunk by German Submarine on Friday, May 7th, 1915, Eight miles from the Old Head of Kinsale, Ireland, and 160 miles off Fishguard. There were 1906 souls on board. There were 764 saved. Victims 1142. The liner left New York on Saturday, May 1st
