Founded East London Federation of Suffragettes (with others) - composed of working class women, campaigned for women's suffrage and for social change in the period 1912-1920
Owned and edited weekly paper The Women’s Dreadnought (later, The Worker’s Dreadnought)
Continued campaigning for the vote during WW1
Women's Peace Army
Published The New Times and Ethiopia News, from 1936
